This will require a good bit of work, people and money, but we believe it can be done and can make the Keene region a true regional center for winter sports activities, particularly when coupled with the new year-round ice arena being built by the <a href=\"http:\/\/keeneice.org\/\">Keene Ice<\/a> organization.<\/p>\n<p>As our club is just in the formation stages, our precise plans are still in development, but a rough outline of how we&#8217;d ideally like to proceed is:<\/p>\n<p><strong>2018-2019 season<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Initial planning stages and publicity<\/li>\n<li>Identification of curlers (both new and experienced) within the Monadnock region who could form an active group<\/li>\n<li>Outreach to regional and national curling organizations who can help us grow the club<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2019-2020 season<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Continued planning stages and publicity<\/li>\n<li>Identification of curlers (both new and experienced) within the Monadnock region who could form an active group<\/li>\n<li>Outreach to regional and national curling organizations who can help us grow the club<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2020-2021 season<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Creation of a legal organization and board of directors (<a title=\"How You Can Help\" href=\"http:\/\/monadnockcurling.org\/get-involved\/\">interested in helping?<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Start curling as a group either on: 1) arena ice at Keene Ice ; or<br \/>2) rented ice at Petersham Curling Club.<\/li>\n<li>Continued publicity and membership building<\/li>\n<li>Beginning the work of identifying a site, creating business plans, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2021-2022 season<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Continued group curling, including ideally hosting a first bonspiel in the Monadnock region<\/li>\n<li>Continued publicity and membership building, particularly with the Winter Olympics.<\/li>\n<li>Identification of a site, planning, permitting<\/li>\n<li>Raising of funds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2022-2023 season<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Continued group curling<\/li>\n<li>Continued publicity and membership building<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Continued fundraising<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Start of building or remodeling<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2023-2024 season<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">First year of curling!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In an ideal world, of course, we&#8217;d love to see this happen sooner &#8211; <a title=\"How You Can Help\" href=\"http:\/\/monadnockcurling.org\/get-involved\/\">WE NEED YOUR HELP<\/a> to make this a reality! \u00a0Please join us and bring curling to the Monadnock region!<\/p>\n<p><em>P.S.
